A nice and fair Par 4 makes a very fair opening hole, the trees on the right hide the sea for the tee shot. But be careful about the rough on the left side! Once you have reached the fairway, the hole opens up and gives you a stunning view over the Black Sea – and this is just the beginning!

This very long Par 5 requires some accurate tee shots as the cliff edge on the right hand side is very near. The generous fairway helps, but be aware of the fairway bunker on the left by placing your tee shot! The green is very deep and undulated so make sure you are using the correct club for your third shot.

This is great par 5 with fantastic panoramic views of the sea and the cliffs. The safe line is to drive it down the left hand side and let the hills help it back to the fairway. The big hitters will always try to reach it in two, but there is a big set of bunkers waiting to catch the errant second.

Don’t try to cut too much of this hole as it slightly doglegs to the right. The perfect line is just to the right of the left fairway bunkers. The long narrow green which sits on the cliff side needs a real accurate second, so coming from the fairway is a must.

This is the shortest hole at Thracian but still has plenty of teeth. If the flag is on the right hand side, beware of the bunkers and the cliff edge that awaits any slightly pushed tee shot. Good news, there is a nice little hill on the left of the green that feeds the ball back to the green – if you are lucky.

This is the signature hole at Thracian Cliffs and one definitely for the camera. At 211 meters from the back tee the longest of the Par 3s, but with at least 40 meters drop in elevation it can play a little shorter. The green is cut out of the cliff edge and surrounded by the sea on the right hand side, so the shot must be straight here, please! It is not a good idea to try the left hand side of the Green – the cliff likes to eat the balls.

If the last hole did not get your attention, then this one will. The tee is in the sea! This is one of the most challenging Par 4’s on the course, as the tee shot needs to be carried by 170 meters from the island tee. Once on the fairway, the elevated green needs much precision for the 2nd.

Risk or reward for the big hitters! This short Par 4 is right at the furthest part of the golf course and with a narrow fairway, needs plenty of precision if you try to attack. Safe players use two mid-irons for a safe Par.

Now we start our way back to the clubhouse, and what a great hole to start with. The fairway fits into the cliff and requires a very demanding second to a slightly elevated green. Beware of the left hand side pin position, this is the real Tiger pin.

The fairway is quite generous and sweeps into a very nice green, but don’t be fooled it gets tighter the close you get. Your amazing tee will be awaited by the huge bunker on the left side of the fairway. Big hitters have to be careful not to catch the lake on the left. For all other players the lake starts to play a big role for the second, as the Green is designed being a half island and the lake loves golf balls!
