THRACIAN CLIFFS ON THE ROUTE OF BLACK SEA ROUTE EPIC 2026

This spring, Thracian Cliffs is once again part of the Black Sea Route Epic 2026 – an extensive cycling and hiking journey along the Black Sea coastline. On 28 April, the cycling expedition will pass through the resort for a second consecutive year, following the scenic coastal route across the cliffs – one of the most iconic and visually stunning stretches along the Black Sea.

The event includes two expeditions: the BIKE Tour (750 km, Jurilovca to Rezovo) and the HIKE Tour (600 km, Constanța to Rezovo), both tracing the coastline across Romania and Bulgaria.

The initiative “Black Sea Route” connects key coastal locations between the Danube Delta, Constanta, Varna, Burgas, and Istanbul and focuses on developing a continuous long-distance cycling & hiking trail using existing paths, supported by local communities and institutions. A great example of how active travel is shaping a deeper, more meaningful way to experience a destination.
